Good Neighbor Pharmacy Champions of the Year 2025
Congratulations to our 2025 award winners!
Advocacy Champion Award | The Apothecary Shoppe, Salt Lake City, UT
“Many pharmacists and pharmacy owners underestimate the power of their voice because they’re so focused on juggling the demanding responsibilities of running a pharmacy while delivering exceptional patient care,” said owner and pharmacist Kevin DeMass, who focuses on championing policies that safeguard patient access to and ensure the long-term success of independent pharmacies. “That’s why it’s so important for someone to step into the advocacy role. Industry peers and partners have chosen me to fight on behalf of our profession and patients, and I embrace that responsibility wholeheartedly.”
Clinical Care Champion Award | McDowell’s Pharmacy, Scotland Neck, NC
“We are deeply honored to be recognized as Good Neighbor Pharmacy’s 2025 Clinical Care Champion,” said Thomas McDowell, pharmacist and owner of McDowell’s Pharmacy. “As a fourth-generation pharmacy, we feel a deep sense of responsibility to care for our neighbors, especially in a rural area where healthcare access is limited. Our roots run deep here, and we’re committed to continuing our legacy of personalized, compassionate care to ensure the health and well-being of this community for generations to come.”
Storytelling Champion Award | Cypress Wellness Pharmacy, Fort Myers, FL
“Sharing our story has been key to building trust and deepening our connection with the community,” said Justin Ceravolo, head pharmacist and owner of Cypress Wellness Pharmacy. “Through strategic marketing efforts and liaising with community partners, we’ve greatly extended the reach of our personalized care and wellness solutions tailored to our community’s needs. We’re honored and excited to be recognized as Good Neighbor Pharmacy’s 2025 Storytelling Champion, which truly underpins our commitment to serving our patients with authenticity and care.”
