We advocate for independent pharmacy on Capitol Hill and in the states
Advocacy works!

More than 154 new state laws have been enacted since 2017 that address inequities and lack of transparency in the system. Laws in all 50 states.
Federal legislative activity
We are currently in the 118th congress and many bills have been introduced regarding drug pricing, reimbursement, and healthcare reform. We are following the bills closely, advocating for policy positions, and working alongside our coalition partners. Please find additional resources and advocacy tools here:
Member spotlight on advocacy
Member and multi-store pharmacy owner Steve Giroux writes, "We participated in the NCPA Month of Action in August when we hosted Congresswoman Claudia Tenney at two of our pharmacies on Aug 24, 2023 -- Middleport Family Health Center and Rosenkrans Pharmacy. We facilitated a visit to our local school district to view the newly revised and widely acclaimed Ag Ed Program and preview the Federal Grant obtained via her predecessor for a green house and a large animal paddock. After the three visits, we hosted a political fundraiser for her, successfully raising over $15,000 for her campaign."
